PPFBM100 at a glance

PPFBM100 measures 100 × 150 cm (width × height); the area is 1.50 m². A flat bag has no depth and no nominal volume; the fill quantity depends on the material and on how far you fill it.

In 100 × 150 cm we carry only this one version with PPFBM100 in the standard range; variations are custom-made products.

PPFBM100 carries the mineral wool warning print from the factory. The data sheet cites TRGS 521 (fibre dust in work with old mineral wool) as the standard reference. The data sheet names as areas of use: disposal, remediation.

Filling of PPFBM100

The data sheets give no load capacity and no nominal volume for flat bags. PPFBM100 (100 × 150 cm) is filled by hand and closed with drawcord in the hem. Fill only as much as one or two people can carry safely, and leave enough room at the hem for closing. Old mineral wool weighs only about 0.10 t/m³; volume is the limiting factor here, not weight.

Handling of PPFBM100

  • PPFBM100 has no lifting loops and is moved by hand. Do not drag across the ground.
  • Closure on PPFBM100: drawcord in the hem.
  • PPFBM100 is coated. According to the data sheet the fabric protects against the ingress of moisture and is suitable for rain and outdoor storage. UV light still weakens it.
  • PPFBM100 carries the mineral wool warning print in three languages. Because of the low density of old mineral wool, volume limits the filling, not weight.
  • The standard reference TRGS 521 in the data sheet of PPFBM100 is not an approval; the acceptance is clarified by your waste disposal company, see Asbestos and mineral wool.
  • A pallet holds 2,000 pieces of PPFBM100 (10 bundles of 50 pieces per bale, 4 bales). Store unused bags in their original packaging.
