Container Bags for Roll-off Containers

Length, width and height: the bag must fit the container

A container bag is not packaging for a pallet but a lining for a roll-off container. So it is not the load capacity that decides but the size: the data sheets give external dimensions of 620 × 240 × 115 to 750 × 240 × 240 cm. The nominal volume therefore ranges from 17.1 to 43.2 m³. Measure your container inside (length, width, height) and compare the values with the table. A bag that is much too short leaves areas of the container unprotected. A bag that is much too long cannot be closed cleanly.

The data sheets give no load capacity for container bags. The load results from container size, filling material and the permitted gross weight of the vehicle. We advise on the design; the Fill Limit Calculator helps estimate the weight.

The container bags compared

Nominal volume = length × width × height of the external dimensions. The actual fill volume is lower. PU = pieces per pallet.

Lid, retaining and closing straps, crane eye

• Lid: closes the bag after filling so that dust and moisture cannot escape or enter.
• Retaining and closing straps: hold the bag in the container and close the lid.
• Crane eye (craneye): attachment point for moving the filled bag with the crane. Clarify the permitted load and the type of attachment with us before use.
• Closed bottom: the bag forms a continuous tray in the container.
• Coating or PE liner: 8 items are coated, BBA620PE is uncoated with PE liner (50 µm).

Asbestos, acceptance point and transport

6 of the items carry the asbestos warning print in seven languages, 3 (BB700, BB750, BB650) are neutral. Whether an acceptance point permits container big bags differs locally: the leaflet of the Schweinfurt district (customer information of 20 July 2023) expressly excludes them for asbestos-containing waste. Clarify this with your waste disposal company before you order. The transport-law classification (ADR, GGVSEB) is checked by the waste disposal company or dangerous-goods safety adviser; our items are not designated as UN packaging.

Delivery and printing

Container bags are delivered palletised, with 32 to 50 pieces per pallet depending on size and version. Printing with a company logo is possible from 5 pallets per order and motif, which is 160 to 250 pieces depending on the item. The asbestos warning print remains visible.
