What the configurator is, and what it is not
The Bag Configurator helps when no catalogue item fits: other dimensions, another load capacity, another fabric, liner, spouts or print. You fill in the fields, and on the right a specification is created laid out like our order specification sheets. You can print this specification, copy it or send it with your enquiry. It is an enquiry, not a quotation and not a commitment that it can be made. We then clarify feasibility, minimum quantities and test certificates with the manufacturer.

From form to specification
- Choose the design and enter dimensions, load capacity and safety factor.
- Specify fabric, top, bottom, loops and liner.
- Choose print, label, seams and packaging. You design your own logo in the printing advisor.
- Describe the material, requirement and special features.
- Check the specification on the right and send it with the enquiry, or print it.
The configuration stays saved in your browser until you choose “Reset”. It is transmitted to us only with your enquiry.
When a custom-made bag is worthwhile
A catalogue item is the quicker solution if dimensions, load capacity and version fit. A custom-made bag is worth considering if you operate a fixed filling or emptying station, if the size or fabric deviates from the standard, if you need a version that is not in the range, or if your customer demands a particular specification. First check in the catalogue whether a variant of the same size already meets the requirement.
Variations of catalogue items
On every product page, the fields under “Choose version” lead to the configurator if the variation you want is not in the range, for example an item without print, without skirt, coated or with PE liner. The configurator then takes over the item's dimensions, load capacity and fabric and enters the variation in the remark, for example “Variation of BB90: without skirt”.
Example of a specification
A company needs a big bag for metal swarf. It chooses the design “Big bag”, 90 × 90 × 110 cm, 1,000 kg, safety factor 5:1, fabric coated, top “Skirt”, bottom “closed bottom”, 4 lifting loops, inner liner “PE liner”, print “Customer logo”, label “DS label”. In the field “Use” it enters “Metal swarf, filling by forklift”, in the field “Requirement” “2,000 pieces per year, call-off quarterly”. This produces a specification that we check with the manufacturer for feasibility and minimum quantity. Sharp-edged material loads the fabric at points, so for such applications we agree samples and a load test.
Frequently asked questions
Is the specification a quotation?
No. It is an enquiry. We state prices, minimum quantities and delivery date in the quotation, once feasibility and test certificates have been clarified.
Can I configure certificates such as food contact or UN approval?
No. The configurator records technical features. Certificates such as food contact or UN approval are clarified in the project and are not part of the standard range.
Where is my configuration stored?
Only in your browser. It is transmitted to us only with your enquiry and is not stored on the server.
How many pieces must I take for a custom-made bag?
That depends on the manufacturer and the version. We state the minimum quantity in the quotation.
